Kemuel Moodley is the Founder and CEO of Octans Space Africa, he drives strategic partnerships, capital mobilisation, and the commercialisation of cutting-edge space and technology solutions across global markets.

 He is a Physicist & Applied Mathematician, specialising in Quantum Mechanics, and works with Artificial Intelligence and ML systems focusing on responsible and domain-specific applications of artificial intelligence. 

Kemuel also brings experience from the trading sector, where he specialised in stochastic modeling and Elliott Wave Theory, blending analytical depth with strategic foresight. 

Barbara B. Fuentes M. is a global business developer & strategist with extensive experience in international trade, market expansion, and strategic consulting across Asia, Latin America, Africa, Europe, and North America. 

She has led the successful launch of multiple subsidiaries and currently drives innovation in emerging markets, with a focus on Africa’s SpaceTech and IT sectors. 

Her expertise spans financial analysis, regulatory strategy, cross-cultural leadership, and global operations—building sustainable growth in complex, high-impact environments. 

Victoria Barra Vergara is an Industrial Engineer based in Easter Island, Chile, with a master’s degree in Marketing and Commercial Management.

She has developed extensive experience in the commercial sector across multiple industries on Easter Island and internationally, including serving as Commercial Executive for Europe at FIDAE (International Air and Space Fair). Through this role, she built strong connections in the aeronautical, space, and cybersecurity sectors, cultivating a deep expertise and passion for technology-driven innovation.

As Regional Commercial Head at Octans Space, Victoria oversees the company’s operations and commercial strategy in her region, leading proof-of-concepts, pilot projects, and strategic initiatives. 

In addition to her work at Octans, Victoria advises entrepreneurs, supporting start-ups across diverse sectors in one of the most remote inhabited locations on the planet, fostering innovation and opportunity from Easter Island to the broader global ecosystem.

James E. Benouda is an aviation and space entrepreneur and Co-Founder of ALQAMAR Space, where he is involved in the development of on-orbit rechargeable electric propulsion systems. 

He is also a co-founding member of MISI (Moroccan Initiative for Space Industry), a non-profit organization dedicated to developing Morocco’s space ecosystem and supporting local capability building.

In his role as Regional Director for MENA and Continental Europe at Octans Space, James oversees regional operations, partnerships, and strategic initiatives, contributing his expertise to advance space and technology projects across the region.

With more than 30 years of international experience, Carolina specializes in business intelligence, digital transformation, governance, and organizational design. She helps organizations align technology, strategy, and operations to transform complex challenges into scalable solutions that drive sustainable growth and informed decision-making.

Her career spans public and private sector organizations across Latin America, the United States, and Europe, with experience in banking, government, mining, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, education, technology, and international development.

As Strategic Partner for Chile at Octans Space Africa, Carolina supports regional expansion, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, proof-of-concept initiatives, and business development across Chile and Latin America.

Carolina is a registered supplier with the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) and is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.

Zdravko is an entrepreneur and automation engineer with 10+ years of experience as a business developer of aerospace projects. 

He has participated in some of the earliest NewSpace efforts in Bulgaria, organizing the first CubeSat mission teams in 2013, the New Bulgarian University Space Lab student club, and contributed to the first National Space Program proposal in 2017. 

Zdravko is a graduate of New Bulgarian University and the Bulgarian Air Force Academy and has participated in and overseen three small satellite mission proposals. 

He is the founder of Sfera Technologies, a Sofia-based startup building an integrated Earth Observation data delivery system. 

 With over 25 years of consulting experience across Mexico and Chile, Erick Ledesma has worked across industries including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, mining, textiles, and wineries, developing a strong understanding of how technology must align with business operations to deliver real value.

Today, he leads his own IT support company, focused on helping manufacturing businesses maintain operational continuity through reliable, proactive technology solutions. His strength lies in combining strategic business insight with technical expertise, ensuring that critical systems support efficiency, reduce risk, and prevent costly disruptions.

Erick believes in preventive IT support and in technology as a practical management tool that strengthens long-term business performance.
